Key Responsibilities: Food Safety & Quality Leadership Champion a strong food safety and quality culture across the site Ensure compliance with BRC and customer standards Track, report, and improve key quality and food safety KPIs Audit & Technical Support Lead customer and third-party audits to deliver strong outcomes Support the Technical Manager in delivering site technical strategy Lead investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions Act as a key member of the HACCP team and support food defence requirements Team Leadership Coach, guide, and develop the Quality team Set clear objectives, recognise strong performance, and manage issues professionally Support succession planning and team development Continuous Improvement Identify and implement improvements across quality, safety, and operational standards Use data to guide decision-making and performance improvements Support wider site initiatives and technical projects Essential Criteria Experience in a Quality or Technical role within food manufacturing Strong knowledge of BRC and food safety standards Experience leading audits A confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels Ambitious and motivated, with a passion for food safety and quality culture Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Degree in Food Science, Food Safety, or related discipline HACCP Level 4 Desirable Criteria Experience in chilled and/or high-risk environments Knowledge of TACCP and food authenticity Experience with structured problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D)
