We’re looking for a results-driven Sales Executive (or Business Development Manager) with proven experience selling B2B IT or software services—ideally in QA, testing, or development outsourcing. You'll take ownership of the full sales cycle: from prospecting and lead qualification to pitching and closing deals.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
* Identify and target new business opportunities in the UK and international markets
* Build and manage a qualified pipeline of leads in Salesforce
* Conduct discovery calls and present tailored QA/testing solutions to prospective clients
* Collaborate with technical teams to scope requirements and prepare proposals
* Negotiate contracts and close sales, achieving or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
* Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
* Represent the company at industry events, meetups, or online demos
* Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management on a regular basis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 3–7 years of successful experience in B2B sales, preferably within IT services, SaaS, or QA/testing
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), QA/testing fundamentals, and software testing processes
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Highly self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to manage pipelines and work independently
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
* Knowledge for testing process of software development and system maintenance is desirable.
Nice to Have
* Experience selling software testing tool, QA consulting, or development outsourcing
* Technical background or understanding of test automation tools
* Experience selling into the Salesforce ecosystem is highly desirable
