Your new role
As an HR Officer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering aprehensive and high-quality HR service across all departments. This is a varied and hands-on position where you’ll support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and wellbeing initiatives. You’ll be responsible for maintaining HR systems, coordinating recruitment processes, supporting line managers, and contributing to strategic HR projects. You’ll also act as a key point of contact for staff, ensuring HR policies and procedures are effectively implemented and adhered to.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
1. A relevant third-level qualification and/or CIPD accreditation.
2. At least three years’ experience in a generalist HR role.
3. Proven experience handling employee relations and providing coaching to managers.
4. Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
5. Excellentmunication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence in working with HR systems (experience with PAMS and NorthTime Pro is desirable).
7. A proactive, adaptable approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
