About Our Client

This is a not-for-profit organisation based in Preston that focuses on delivering meaningful services to its community. As a small-sized team, they prioritise collaboration and are dedicated to creating a positive impact through their work.

Job Description

* Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
* Maintain employee records, including contracts, right-to-work documents, and other compliance-related paperwork.
* Assist in the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews and preparing offer letters.
* Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new starters, ensuring a seamless experience.
* Support the HR team in organising training sessions and tracking employee development records.
* Handle general HR queries, directing more complex matters to the appropriate team members.
* Contribute to the maintenance of HR systems and databases, ensuring data integrity.
* Collaborate on HR projects aimed at improving policies and procedures within the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Administrator should have:

* Experience in an administrative role, ideally within Human Resources or a similar environment.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* An understanding of confidentiality and data protection requirements.
* A proactive and problem-solving approach to tasks.
