Location: Trust Office at Eastlea School, with travel across Newham Community Learning sites

Salary: SMR B | Contract: Permanent, full-time

ham Community Learning is seeking an experienced Head of Estates & Contracts to join our central team. Reporting to the CEO, you will lead the strategic and operational management of our estate across six schools, ensuring buildings are safe, well-maintained, and fit for purpose. You will oversee contracts, procurement, and capital projects, and lead a small Estates team to deliver excellent facilities management.

We are looking for a candidate with strong estates or facilities management experience, including health & safety leadership, contract oversight, and budget management. You will be confident working with school leaders, Trustees, and external contractors, providing strategic guidance and ensuring value for money.

Essential: Graduate certificate or degree in a relevant field, minimum 5 years' experience in estates/facilities management, strong health & safety knowledge, leadership skills, budget and contract management experience.

Desirable: Experience in education or public sector estates management, NEBOSH qualification, professional body membership (e.g., IWFM, RICS).
