Working Pattern: Full-time (3 days per week in the office)
The ideal person will have experience of working within blue and white collar environments and have examples of building relationships, enabling change and being a solid HR business partner who builds effective and longs lasting relationships across the business.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join my client who are a leading brand within the FMCG industry on a full-time. This role will be responsible for delivering effective HR operations, employee relations support, payroll oversight, and strategic HR partnering to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations
* Lead and manage day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies
* Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures
* Ensure HR processes are efficient, compliant, and consistently applied
Employee Relations (ER)
* Manage employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, and absence
* Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on ER matters
* Support investigations and ensure fair, timely, and legally compliant outcomes
Payroll
* Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
* Act as the key point of contact between HR, Finance, and payroll providers
* Resolve payroll queries and support payroll audits as required
HR Projects
* Lead and contribute to HR projects such as process improvement, policy implementation, system enhancements, and organisational change
* Manage project plans, timelines, and stakeholders
HR Business Partnering
* Partner with senior leaders and line managers to provide pragmatic, commercial HR advice
* Support workforce planning, organisational change, and people initiatives
* Build strong relationships to support business performance
Skills & Experience
* CIPD Level 5 qualified (essential)
* Proven experience in an HR Operations Manager or similar role
* Strong employee relations expertise
* Solid payroll knowledge and experience working with payroll providers
* Experience delivering HR projects
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Working Arrangement
* Full-time role
* 3 days per week office-based
* Fixed-term contract of 14 months
