A Laundry Assistant is responsible for ensuring linen availability for all departments, maintaining linen room cleanliness, and managing stock receipt.
Shifts are from 15:00 to 23:00, scheduled 5 days over 7.
Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring linen is available for all departments
* Implementing quality controls and rejecting exceptions
* Maintaining linen room cleanliness
* Performing stock takes
* Maintaining par stocks
* Receiving and safely storing stock
* Managing customer service issues
* Overseeing linen issuing via requisition system
* Adhering to Health and Safety regulations
* Performing other tasks as assigned by management
Ideal candidates will have:
* Ability to work under pressure
* Ability to work independently or in teams
* Flexibility for late shifts
* Methodical and well-organised approach
Preferred experience in hotel or laundry operations is advantageous.
