Overview
Site Manager role at TieTalent. We are looking for a proactive leader to manage a high performing on-site construction team, focusing on customer delivery of affordable quality homes.
To be considered, you should share Gleeson Values of being Passionate, Collaborative and Respectful, and have prior experience as a Site Manager on high-volume new build housing developments.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage the development to maintain and deliver the build programme in accordance with budgets and forecasts, ensuring final product meets Gleeson Homes standards.
* Take full responsibility and control of all site staff and sub-contractors, including labour-only groundworkers/contractors, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety standards.
* Liaise with head office, NHBC, Health and Safety and Local Authority departments.
* Timely ordering of materials to achieve the build programme.
* Ensure all NHBC inspections are carried out as required.
* Carry out handover inspections of properties to customers in accordance with customer care procedures.
* Address customer care defects promptly in conjunction with the customer care team.
* Promote a philosophy of safety, progress, quality and innovation.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience as a Site Manager working on high-volume new build housing developments. Must have extensive knowledge and experience of managing labour-only groundworkers/contractors.
* Full UK driving licence
* Excellent knowledge of construction build programmes
* Strong commercial awareness
* Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes
* Experience in delivering customer service requirements
* Awareness of relevant codes of practice (e.g., NHBC, Building Regulations)
* Ability to use Zutec and Digital plot books; training can be provided if needed
