Job Description
3. Develop and implement people strategies that support organisational goals.
4. Oversee day‑to‑day HR operations, ensuring efficient and consistent delivery of HR services.
5. Manage employee lifecycle activities including recruitment, onboarding, development, performance and offboarding.
6. Maintain accurate HR records, policies, and processes, ensuring compliance with legislation and internal standards.
7. Provide expert advice on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
8. Lead and support disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence processes.
9. Continually review and update HR policies, ensuring alignment with best practice and legal requirements.
10. Support managers in delivering high‑quality performance and development conversations.
11. This role includes line management
12. Occasional travel to other sites required
The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Manager should have:
13. Proven experience in a HR Manager role with both operational and strategic responsibilities.
14. Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment legislation.
15. Experience managing employee relations cases, organisational change, and HR projects.
16. Able to build strong relationships and influence at all levels.
17. Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
18. Line management experience
19. CIPD Level 5 qualified / working towards level 7 is desirable
20. Occasional travel to other sites required
