Site Manager - Remediation & Enabling Works Salary: £85,000 - £90,000 per annum Competitive Package Location: Brentwood, Essex (M25 East/North East Corridor) Contract: Permanent Atkinson Baker Associates are currently recruiting a driven Site Manager on behalf of a leading Multi-Disciplinary Civil Engineering & Remediation Contractor. The Client With a strong reputation across the UK, our client delivers large-scale civil engineering and remediation packages. Their specialist division tackles heavily contaminated land, transforming challenging environments into safe, build-ready sites. The Role You will be the focal point of site delivery, ensuring that works progress strictly to programme while maintaining the highest safety and environmental standards. Delivery: Driving the daily progress of remediation packages, coordinating plant operations and specialist teams. Compliance: Ensuring all site activities comply with EA regulations, maintaining accurate site diaries, allocation sheets, and compliance documentation. Problem Solving: Proactively resolving on-site engineering and logistical challenges. Team Management: Motivating site operatives, managing sub-contractors, and liaising closely with the Project Manager. Requirements Essential: Demonstrable experience as a Site Manager within the remediation, enabling works, or groundworks sectors. Essential: Valid SMSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid. Essential: Strong understanding of heavy plant operations and safe systems of work in contaminated environments. Location: Must be comfortably commutable to projects along the M25 East/Brentwood corridor. What's on Offer Salary: £85,000 - £90,000 basic salary.
