NW32112 Site Manager - Anaerobic Digestion £60,000 Package Oxfordshire Alecto Recruitment is partnering with a market leader in the Anaerobic Digestion sector who are currently looking for a site Manager to manage the day-to-day operations on their Oxford site. Package: £55,000 - £60,000 basic salary Company Vehicle Performance based bonus Company Shares Scheme Company pension scheme Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of operators and maintenance staff responsible for the daily operation of the AD plant, including planning and scheduling work, monitoring performance and conducting training. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations and standards, including the preparation of risk assessments and safety procedures. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and contractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration in the delivery of services. Manage site budgets and resources, including the procurement of materials and equipment, and the coordination of maintenance and repair work. Monitor and report on site performance, including the production of biogas and the quality of the end products, and implement improvement initiatives as required. Develop and maintain effective record-keeping systems, including maintaining accurate logs of plant operations and maintenance activities. Develop and implement operational procedures and protocols to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the AD plant. Provide technical support and expertise to the wider business, including contributing to the development of new AD projects and initiatives. Liaising with local farmers and contractors about the timings and quantities of deliveries Qualifications and Skills: Mechanical/electrical aptitude WAMITAB COTC 4 - advantageous Telehandler/ loading shovel experience Ideally 5 years of relevant experience in the management of an AD plant or similar waste management facility. Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Sound knowledge of the principles of anaerobic digestion, biogas production and end product quality.
