Role Overview
The Sales Governance Coordinator supports global B2B sales teams by streamlining deal processes and ensuring compliance with company policies, pricing frameworks, and governance standards. The role bridges sales, finance, legal, and operations to accelerate deal cycles, protect margins, and uphold process integrity.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and validate deal requests for accuracy, compliance, and feasibility.
* Coordinate Deal Desk reviews and ensure timely resolution of deal actions.
* Guide sales teams on structuring non‑standard deals, contracts, and SLAs.
* Coach colleagues on Deal Desk processes and continuously improve workflows.
* Track outcomes and feed insights into sales reviews and business improvement initiatives.
* Monitor adherence to sales policies, pricing frameworks, and approval processes.
* Maintain audit‑ready documentation and report on exceptions or risks.
* Keep governance playbooks, approval matrices, and sales policies updated.
* Prepare dashboards and reports on key KPIs (cycle times, compliance, approvals).
* Provide insights to leadership on trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
* Support training on Deal Desk processes and governance requirements.
* Serve as the primary liaison between sales, legal, finance, and compliance teams.
* Ensure governance principles are embedded throughout the deal process.
Experience & Background
* 1–3 years of experience managing multiple stakeholders in dynamic, fast‑paced environments.
* Exposure to deal desk, sales operations, governance, compliance, or commercial finance within a B2B organization.
* Experience in services or professional services environments preferred.
Technical Skills
* Strong understanding of process and change management with clear, structured communication skills.
* Proficiency in CRM and CPQ systems; Salesforce highly desirable.
* Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities for deal modeling and compliance reporting.
* Working knowledge of commercial contracts, pricing models, and compliance frameworks.
