This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and proactive Site Manager to take on a key role in ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of our school site and facilities.

The Site Manager is responsible for a wide range of duties and responsibilities, including line management, compliance and safety, maintenance, budgeting, site security, working with external agencies, and effective decision-making — to name just a few.

All duties must be performed with full transparency and in line with Trust policies and procedures, while ensuring full compliance with Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance.

The successful candidate will:

* Have experience in site or facilities management, ideally within an educational setting;
* Be proactive, organised, and able to plan and prioritise effectively;
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and statutory requirements;
* Oversee maintenance schedules, contractors, and site improvement projects;
* Take pride in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-presented environment for students, staff, and visitors;
* Work collaboratively with school leaders and Trust colleagues to ensure the premises support the needs of the school community.

As Site Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the school, contributing to the safety, security, and overall effectiveness of our facilities.

Please see attached job description for more details.

We do reserve the right to close this advertisement early if we receive a high volume of suitable applications.

For an informal discussion about either the school, the post, or to organise a visit, please contact Tom Howes thowes@invictus.education.

Interviews date: To be confirmed.

In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025, and as part of our recruitment process, the Trust will carry out an online search on all shortlisted candidates. This is to help identify any incidents or concerns that are publicly available which may pose a safeguarding risk or bring the Trust into disrepute. Any such findings will be shared with the recruitment manager and may be discussed at interview.

We are deeply committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All required pre-employment checks will be undertaken, and offers of employment are subject to satisfactory outcomes.

* Enhanced DBS Check with Children’s Barred List information
* Identity checks, online checks, and verification of professional qualifications and references (see Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025 for further details).

This role involves regulated activity and is therefore subject to:

* An Enhanced DBS Check including the Children’s Barred List.
* Verification through the DfE’s Check a Teacher’s Record (for applicable roles).

It is a criminal offence to apply for this role if you are barred from working with children.
