Job Description
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager with a dotted line into the European CI & Quality Director, the Continuous Improvement and Quality Manager will lead initiatives in lean manufacturing, process improvement, systems, and behavioral change to achieve world-class manufacturing standards.
The day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Leading and managing the site Quality team to ensure consistent, high-quality standards (currently AA BRC accreditation).
2. Developing and implementing the plant's continuous improvement plan in collaboration with the leadership team.
3. Driving proactive approaches to equipment availability and efficiency, working closely with Engineering and Production teams.
4. Collaborating with commercial teams and customers on New Product Introductions (NPI) and existing product development.
5. Developing a data-driven and analytical approach to manufacturing processes.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will possess:
1. A degree in a relevant Engineering or Technical field.
2. A strong background in Continuous Improvement, preferably with Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
3. Analytical skills and experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC).
4. Experience working in a BRC or similar regulated environment.
5. The ability to challenge existing processes and behaviors constructively.
6. Ambition to grow within a global FMCG manufacturer.
