We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Officer to work within a fast paced HR department. We are looking for someone motivated and driven to support, advise and coach on operational HR issues, with a passion and flare for Recruitment. Your role will be to provide operational support, advice, training and coaching to line management, implementing HR policies, processes and engagement initiatives across the wider business towards developing greater people management capabilities. Whilst supporting the business with their Recruitment Strategy.

Some Key Accountabilities
To support, advise and coach managers on operational HR issues, including discipline and grievance, terms and conditions, policies, procedures and employment legislation
To assist Business Divisions in the management and reduction of sickness absence
To support the Property Department with store acquisitions, disposals and closures to ensure relevant people processes are carried out efficiently, effectively and are legally compliant
To provide periodic business updates of HR activity aligned to the Key Performance Indicators
Working in conjunction with the Training & Development team to design and deliver bespoke training solutions
To actively engage with the management teams to champion colleague engagement across the business
To support the companies recruitment strategy
Some Key Knowledge, Skills, Experience And Qualifications Required
Full UK Driving Licence is essential
HR/CIPD/Business Degree or equivalent is essential
Ability to use logical and creative thinking to solve problems and make decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
Demonstrates integrity, a strong work ethic and understands the importance of confidentiality
You may also have experience in the following: HR Officer, HR Executive, HR Administration, HR Administrator, Human Resources Administrator, HR Assistant, Human Resources Assistant, HR Administrator, HR Generalist, Human Resources Generalist, HR Support, etc.
