Learning Mentor - SEMH School (Canterbury)
A specialist SEN school in Canterbury is seeking a compassionate and resilient Learning Mentor to join their dedicated team. The school supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and provides a structured, nurturing environment where students can rebuild confidence and re-engage with education.
With smaller class sizes, an adapted curriculum, and a strong therapeutic approach, staff are able to provide meaningful support and build positive relationships with pupils who may have struggled in mainstream settings.
The Role
As a Learning Mentor, you will work closely with pupils to support their emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and engagement with learning. A key part of the role will involve building trust with students and helping them develop the confidence and resilience needed to succeed in school.
