You will play a key part in delivering a smooth, high-quality service by supporting mortgage completions, handling post-offer queries and working closely with colleagues across the Society. The team also supports customers and solicitors with mortgage account queries, including the maintenance and storage of Title Deeds. Along the way, you will gain broad exposure to a wide range of responsibilities, including preparing mortgage accounts for deeds to be received and released, instructing valuers, making amendments through our core mortgage system, issuing funds to solicitors and carrying out a range of important mortgage administration activities.The successful candidate will bring a positive, can-do approach and a genuine commitment to delivering excellent service. This role would suit someone who enjoys working as part of a supportive team, takes pride in accuracy and organisation, and is motivated by helping customers, brokers and branches achieve the best possible outcomes.About The RoleWhat are your dutiesMortgage completions moving accounts from internal systems and processing completion notifications to borrowers, Solicitors and brokersInstructing valuers and downloading valuation reportsMonitor and process requests cancelling applications, accounts amendments, returned funds etcRecording Title Deeds receivedMonitor Deeds requests 2nd charges, land registry transactions etcProcess deeds work queue including dealing with Land Registry and update Deeds management systemOngoing maintenance and storage of Title DeedsDealing regularly with our customers, brokers, solicitors, and third-party enquiries and working closely with our branch teams and management, through multi-channel communicationPreparation of mortgage accounts to release mortgage fundsMaintenance of records for change of name and update Deeds management system accordinglyIssuing Title Deeds to Solicitors / borrowersMaintaining a detailed knowledge of our products and services to help resolve customer queriesBatch processes ensuring all mortgage conditions have been established for the release of mortgage advances to Solicitors/borrowersIndependently process post offer and stage payment queries, seeking support from Senior Administrators when required, while providing clear solutions and rationale for decisioningPreparation and issue of Transfer Deeds - boundary rectification, grant of easements and master mortgage agreements.Transfer of Equity queries including processing acceptance and issuing Transfer DeedAssisting and completing regulatory reporting duties and meeting deadlinesWhat's on offerCompetitive salaryHybrid working modelAnnual KPI Bonus SchemeExcellent pension with up to 20% employer pension contributionLife Assurance SchemeGroup Income ProtectionHealth cash plan for money back on dental, optical costs etcGenerous holidays - 25 days plus up to 12 Bank HolidaysHoliday purchase schemeOpportunity to gain great exposure in supportive environmentExcellent training and volunteering opportunitiesRequired Criteria6 GCSE passes (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, including English and Mathematics2 years customer service experienceStrong MS office and IT skillsHave a positive attitude with a passion for customer serviceAbility to use initiative, work under pressure, manage workload and meet deadlinesDesired CriteriaPrevious experience working in a financial environmentTelephony experienceSkills NeededEstablishing Rapport With Clients, Communication, TeamworkAbout The CompanyCareers at ProgressiveWe know that looking for a career means so much more than just finding a job.
