The Project
As a highly experienced Site Manager, you will oversee the site team on a £20m new build healthcare development in South London.
Your responsibilities include ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations, managing documentation and progress reports for stakeholders, and ensuring the successful completion of the project.
Requirements
* Professional qualifications: SMSTS, First Aid, Valid CSCS Card
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a site management role within the industry
* Proven track record of delivering projects over £5m
* Competent IT/software skills
* Strong health and safety knowledge
* Effective communication skills, verbal and written
* Ability to organize and manage project schedules
* Understanding of relevant regulations and standards
* Leadership skills to support and direct a team
* Knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
* In-depth understanding of construction methods and building processes
* Exceptional attention to detail to ensure quality standards
The Role

* Reporting to: Project Manager
Duties
* Conduct inductions and toolbox talks
* Oversee subcontractors and liaise with stakeholders and subcontractors
* Coordinate tasks across construction phases
* Handle issues or conflicts during the project
* Monitor project expenditures within budget constraints
* Supervise workmanship and materials to meet standards
* Ensure health and safety compliance
* Report to and collaborate with the Project Manager and Contracts Manager
* Maintain strong client relationships
* Identify and address project threats
* Monitor resource usage, including equipment and materials
* Coordinate across trades for smooth workflow
* Manage daily site activities and supervise workers, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Keep detailed records of contracts, permits, change orders, and correspondence
* Organize and supervise inspections by regulatory authorities
