About School Jotter:
School Jotter is one of the UK's leading providers of school websites and digital learning platforms. Our products are used by thousands of schools to engage parents, support teaching and learning, and ensure compliance with the latest Ofsted and DfE requirements. We're now looking for a talented Front-End Developer to join our growing team.
You'll be part of a dynamic development team working on the next generation of School Jotter. Your focus will be on creating intuitive, responsive, and visually engaging user interfaces for teachers, parents, and pupils. From refining layouts to building new features, you'll play a key role in delivering software that makes a real difference in education.
Your main goal? Keep our customers happy so they stay with us year after year.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain user-friendly front-end components using modern web technologies.
* Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
* Ensure web applications are accessible, responsive, and optimised for performance.
* Support continuous improvements in user experience and design.
* Test, debug, and resolve issues as part of our agile development process.

About the Role
What We're Looking For
* Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
* Experience with modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular desirable).
* Understanding of responsive and accessible design principles.
* Familiarity with version control (Git).
* Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
* A team player with excellent communication skills.
Desirable (but not essential)
* Experience with Tailwind, TypeScript, or
* Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG).
* Experience working on SaaS platforms or education technology.
