HR Administrator (with focus on Payroll Admin Tasks) (Part-Time) Temporary until 31/12/2026
Location: Brackley
Department: Agriculture HR
Hours: 15 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday, 09:00 - 14:30)

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused HR Administrator to join our busy Agriculture HR team at our Brackley site. This is a fast‑paced role with weekly payroll deadlines where you will provide HR and payroll administration support, working closely with managers and employees at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and within deadlines
* Act as a first point of contact for pay queries, resolving or escalating as needed
* Support managers with pay records and additional payments in MHR
* Manage the Agriculture HR shared inbox and escalating queries where required
* Coordinate new starter onboarding, including right‑to‑work checks and documentation
* Process absence records and update payroll and HR systems accordingly
* Liaise with HR Shared Services on employee changes and updates
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee records and digital files
* Update case management trackers and produce monthly reports

Essential
* Strong numeracy skills and ability to problem‑solve complex pay queries
* Strong administrative, organisational, and time‑management skills
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work at pace
* Confident communication skills and ability to work with all levels of staff
* IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and HR/Payroll systems
* Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
* Experience working in a busy or similar role
Desirable
* Previous HR, Payroll, Finance or bookkeeping experience
