Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a specialist repair project in Northampton. The building has been affected by a neighbouring fire, and the works will involve partial demolition, assessing salvageable structure, and coordinating all repair activities on site.
Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and programme adherence.
* Manage demolition works and follow-on structural assessments.
* Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and workflows efficiently.
* Maintain site documentation, RAMS, permits, and safety records.
* Liaise closely with project managers, structural engineers, and insurers as required.
* Ensure the site operates to the highest H&S standards at all times.
Essential Requirements
* CSCS Black or Gold Card
* SMSTS
* 3-Day First Aid Certificate
* Proven experience managing refurbishment, fire-damage, or demolition-related projects.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
Preferred (Not Essential)
* Fire Marshall Certification
* Asbestos Awareness Training
