Commercial Sales Executive required in Carlisle

This is a permanent Sales position working 45 hours per week, reporting directly to the Commercial Sales Manager. Our client is seeking an enthusiastic individual who can demonstrate a proven track record in high-volume vehicle sales, combined with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Duties of the Sales Executive:
9. Achieve and surpass sales targets aligned with KPIs
10. Utilise resources effectively to ensure smooth departmental operations
11. Build strong, long-term customer relationships through professional and ethical interaction
12. Identify customer needs accurately and recommend appropriate products and services
13. Maximise opportunities for new business acquisition
14. Promote and upsell accessories, warranties, and financing options
15. Maintain comprehensive product knowledge and communicate this confidently to customers
16. Assist colleagues and support team initiatives to enhance overall performance
17. Contribute to reducing waste and improving process efficiencies
18. Stay updated with relevant FCA qualifications and regulatory compliance
Requirements for this Sales position:
19. Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
20. Proven experience in high-volume vehicle sales
21. Full UK driving license held for at least six months with fewer than nine penalty points
22. Excellent communication skills, including negotiation and influencing abilities
23. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
24. Demonstrable ability to prospect and convert profitable business
25. Strong self-management with proactive ownership of responsibilities
26. Resilience, motivation, and a commitment to personal development
27. Ability to understand and meet both customer and business needs
