Learning Support Mentor - St Austell Full-time | Term-time only | £85-£100 per day | Start ASAP We're working with schools and alternative provisions in the St Austell area that need brilliant people to support young learners who might be finding school tough. This isn't about standing at the front of a class - it's about building trust, being a steady presence, and helping young people re-engage with learning. You'll work closely with pupils who need a bit of extra support - whether that's because of behaviour challenges, emotional needs, or gaps in learning. You might be based in the classroom, or working 1:1 or in small groups outside of it. Either way, you'll play a key role in helping them feel safe, seen, and supported. This kind of role suits someone who's calm under pressure, confident working with young people, and able to hold boundaries with kindness. If you've worked in education, youth work, care, or support before, that's great - but if not, we still want to hear from you if you've got the right energy and attitude. What you'll need: Experience working with children or young people (formal or informal) A calm, consistent approach and a good sense of humour A DBS on the Update Service (or be happy to apply) Two references and the right to work in the UK In return, you'll get: Weekly pay at a competitive rate Ongoing support and someone in your corner Free CPD and training A role that genuinely makes a difference every single day If this sounds like something you'd be great at, give me a call or drop me a message. Let's chat about what's out there. Ryan Gear ryan.gear@twrecruitment.com 01872 722669
