Hawthorn Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, hard-working, reliable and self-motivated person to be our Site Manager. Salary: £26,409 - £32,654 Permanent, Full time. Hours per week: 37.5 Weeks per year: 52 We are a vibrant, inclusive one form entry school with a Hearing Impaired Resource Base. We take pride in our family feel and in providing our children with the skills for life through quality learning experiences. All roles within our school are valued and make the team effective. The successful candidate will have responsibility for the overall premises, security, site management, cleaning and maintenance of the school and grounds. You will be expected to use your initiative and be flexible. The ability to be able to prioritise and identify tasks are important aspects of this role which involves caretaking, janitorial, cleaning, health and safety assessments, opening/closing, routine repair work and maintenance services at the site. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining all property logs and statutory testing records and in dealing with contractors as well as some project management of future developments. Experience in caretaking and cleaning will be an advantage as will the ability to transport children using a minibus. Skills in DIY, general maintenance and computer skills are essential to the role. This post is for a Site Manager working a split shift over 37.5 hours per week.
