Job Summary / Key Responsibilities:
* Feed, load or unload production machines.
* Support the manufacturing process via part assembly.
* To label and pack products with attention to detail.
* Provide effective support to colleagues such as Material Handler and Operators.
* Perform basic electronic tasks on VDU's or handheld devices.
* Perform tasks using handheld equipment (e.g. power tools)
* Carry out visual and/or dimensional quality checks and report issues in support of Quality / Continuous Improvement.
* Ensure compliance to all standard procedures and systems.
* Identify waste within the process and discard of it effectively.
* Perform manual handling operations safely.
* Support less experienced members of the team in their day to day duties.
* Display a 'can do' attitude to work at all times.
Knowledge, Skills & Attitude:
* Display a good knowledge of manufacturing techniques and processes.
* Display adherence to Health & Safety guidelines and report any issues.
* Have good manual dexterity for assembling components.
* Be able to multitask and rotate across departments and key processes.
* Good attention to detail with a desire to learn new skills
* Display an excellent attitude towards colleagues and management at all times.
