Part Time HR Officer
Location: Cookstown
Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time – circa 24-25 hours per week
We are hiring for our client, a leading manufacturer in the Cookstown area. They are seeking an experienced and proactive Part-Time HR Officer to support the daily operations of their HR department.
This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, providing exposure to recruitment, employee relations, training, performance management, and HR compliance.

The Role
* Assist with recruitment: job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding
* Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
* Coordinate training and development programmes for staff
* Support line managers with performance management and employee relations
* Administer HR documentation, policies, and procedures
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation
* Support health & safety initiatives alongside the H&S team
* Participate in HR projects, including employee engagement and retention initiatives
* Prepare HR reports and metrics for management
The Person
* Proven experience as an HR Officer, HR Assistant, or similar role
* CIPD qualification preferredSolid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
* Able to handle confidential information with discretion
* Proficient in MS Office and HR systems (HRIS)
* Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is advantageous
