Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of skills to perform various maintenance and repair tasks in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Handy Person will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our clients.
Duties
* Conduct general maintenance and repairs on event kit, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to event equipment.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.
* Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used for each job.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while on the job site.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Handy Person or in a similar role is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of general maintenance techniques and methods.
* Familiarity with tools, equipment, and materials used in maintenance work.
* Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints is advantageous.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Good communication skills and the ability to interact positively with clients.
* A valid driving licence is beneficial for travel between job sites.

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
