We are looking for a Junior Developer to join our SITS:Vision development team. Whether you’re a recent graduate looking for your first commercial role or have some experience in software development, this role will give you the chance to grow your skills within a leading, globally deployed product.

Join our vibrant team in Hessle! You'll enjoy a balanced work week with 3 days in our friendly and welcoming office, and 2 days working from the comfort of your home. Our office, set in stunning grounds with ample on‑site parking, hosts regular get‑togethers and team‑building activities that make every day engaging and enjoyable. It's the perfect blend of productivity and fun, in a location that offers both convenience and beauty.
The Role
You’ll be part of a smaller, agile team within the larger SITS development group, allowing you to make a significant contribution to the product. Your responsibilities will include:
* Working on small features, fixing bugs, and contributing to larger projects.
* Finding and resolving issues in the software to ensure it runs smoothly.
* Translating user requirements into Agile user stories, design, and technical outputs.
* Working with designers, product managers, and other developers to bring ideas to life.
* Reviewing test plans.
* Analysing the impact of new features.
* Engaging in code quality activities and identifying root causes of defects.
The Skills you’ll need
* The desire to learn new coding languages.
* Aptitude for problem solving in a creative way.
* A passion for technology.
* Familiarity with recognised database design concepts.
