About the role:
We're looking for a proactive and organised HR Administrator to join our friendly HR team based in Chorley. Supporting the Head of HR and two HR Advisors, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day HR operations across our growing group of 650 employees. Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new starters in the Cleaning and Security divisions, ensuring all documentation and checks are completed.
Assist Security Officers through the BS7858 screening process, ensuring full compliance with industry standards.
Provide administrative support for employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances.
Support the HR team with TUPE processes and redundancy exercises, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Assist managers with recruitment activities, including posting vacancies, coordinating interviews, and preparing offer letters.
Manage the shared HR inbox, ensuring queries are responded to promptly and efficiently.
Perform general administrative duties such as preparing contracts, letters, and maintaining filing systems.
Any other adhoc duties
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years' previous experience in an HR administrative or HR support role
Strong understanding of HR processes, documentation, and best practices.
Level 3 CIPD or equivalent desirable although not essential
Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 3 points maximum
Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle
Familiarity with handling confidential and sensitive information
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
