What you will do:
* Provide clinical pharmacy services to the surgical department, ensuring the safe, effective, and economical use of medicines.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement medication management plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Monitor and review patient medications to optimise treatment outcomes and ensure the best possible care.
* Engage in patient education activities, offering valuable counsel on medication use and potential side effects.
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing your expertise to improve patient care pathways.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all legal and professional regulatory requirements.
Requirements of the Pharmacist:
* Current registration with the GPHC is required.
* Previous experience working as a Pharmacist within a UK-based NHS Pharmacy setting is essential.
* Hold an NVQ or equivalent qualification as a Pharmacist.
