Nhs pharmacist job description

An NHS Pharmacist is an integral part of the healthcare system in the UK, providing expert advice on the use and effectiveness of medications. Their responsibilities include preparing and dispensing prescribed medications, advising healthcare professionals and patients on drug dosages, treatment and side effects, monitoring the health and progress of patients to ensure the safe and effective use of medication, and conducting clinical medication reviews. They also liaise with other medical staff to ensure patients receive quality care. Their work is underpinned by a strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals and a commitment to patient wellness. They must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and have completed a Master's degree in pharmacy.The average salary is £56,400.The different types of contract available: Temporary Internship Freelance.Jobijoba has over 746 job offers for Nhs pharmacist.
