HR Manager - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

The role of HR Manager will provide HR support, guidance and expertise to the DWF business, harnessing the Group's Global Operating Model to deliver service excellence.

This role will be critical in delivering on activities that underpin our Group and Divisional people plans, and in ensuring alignment across people management and organisation design activities within our Group business units. The Group HR function needs to not only keep pace with the demands of the business, but to anticipate change and proactively lead innovative approaches to delivering an engaging colleague experience by working closely with our Centres of Excellence to effect change, lead transformative business practices and grow our business sustainably.


Responsibilities

* Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner/HR Director, the HR Manager will lead and deliver HR activity for the aligned area, taking responsibility for working with the wider Group function in:
o Delivery of Divisional People priorities within aligned area
o Delivery of cyclical people processes, e.g. performance management, pay review, talent and succession activities, engagement action plans etc
o Delivery of business change projects through to successful completion.
o Undertake reviews of organisational structures with the appropriate business leaders to ensure they are set up to deliver the business priorities in the most efficient and cost-effective way
o Working with people leaders to implement plans to improve retention and reduce attrition within areas.
o Implementing HR policies and procedures, alongside drafting and implementing any local operating procedures, where appropriate.
o Supporting the delivery of the global recruitment model in line with local requirements.
* Align the business to our HR global operating model by signposting and directing people related processes to the appropriate area.
* Working closely with the Group Centres of Excellence, including Talent Acquisition, Performance & Engagement, Reward and HR Operations to create a connected and rounded approach to colleague experience – supporting the delivery of the CVP throughout the whole organisation and driving high levels of colleague engagement across the business.
* Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders and managers, challenging and coaching them to develop and demonstrate effective leadership and management behaviours.
* Where appropriate, attend regular meetings with your aligned leadership teams to review people metrics, performance & cyclical activities.
* Utilise people data to provide insights and inform decision making in your aligned area which supports the delivery of the people plan, including the management of our people risks.
* Embracing new ways of work and demonstrating how to use advances in technology, AI and data insights to deliver solutions to the business.
* Contribute to the HR functional plans and strategy ensuring the needs of your aligned areas are reflected.
* Providing expert HR advice to aligned areas to manage people risks and devise appropriate solutions to meet business needs.
* Leading on cross-functional projects as needed.
* Shares own knowledge and experiences to support the development of the wider HR team for example (but not limited to), the ER & Change Specialists and HR Advisory team members

We expect the role will adapt and change according to business needs and the evolution of the Group HR function itself.

* Experience in international business and navigating multi‑jurisdictional and cultural challenges
