Location: Witney (hybrid working, 3 days office-based and 2 days working from home)
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (plus performance bonus and strong benefits)

The Opportunity
Thompson & Terry Recruitment are delighted to be once again working with a well-regarded, independent firm of residential surveyors and valuers operating across Oxfordshire and beyond, to recruit a Sales Executive to join their team.
This newly created role will be a heavily customer-facing role, where you will be the first point of contact for clients booking property surveys, providing clear guidance and excellent service throughout the process. Therefore, the successful candidate should be confident to sell professionally,
As Sales Executive, you will be responsible for clearly explaining the differences between each survey type, advising customers on the most suitable option for their needs, and setting clear expectations about what will happen on the day of the survey. The role also includes taking payments, managing the survey diary efficiently, and ensuring all bookings and records are accurate and up to date.
In addition to this, the successful Sales Executive, will be required to handle customer complaints in a calm and professional manner. These complaints often arise during property sales when survey results highlight issues, so the ability to explain findings sensitively and manage expectations is essential.
Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting the Office Manager and wider sales team, while also providing cover during periods of annual leave. Therefore, adaptability and a willingness to take on varied responsibilities will be key attributes for the successful Sales Executive, and therefore suited to candidates who have small business mentality.
