The Opportunity
An established and forward-thinking organisation is seeking a Data Architect to join a high-performing Architecture & Strategy function. This is a key role responsible for shaping and driving enterprise-wide data architecture to support critical business operations, analytics, and decision-making.
You’ll play a central role in designing scalable, secure, and future‑ready data solutions across a complex environment, working closely with senior stakeholders to align technical delivery with strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and maintain the organisation's data architecture framework
* Design and integrate data solutions across multiple platforms and systems
* Lead data modelling, data flows, and system interoperability initiatives
* Drive best practice in data governance, metadata, and quality standards
* Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
* Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and business teams to deliver value
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and data management standards
About You
* Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a senior data‑focused role
* Strong background in data modelling, integration, and architecture frameworks
* Solid understanding of:
o Data governance & metadata management
o Enterprise architecture principles
o Regulatory and compliance requirements
* Experience with modern data platforms and cloud technologies
* Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and communicate complex ideas clearly
