Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team for a short-term civils project based in Huddersfield. This is a temporary position with an initial duration of one month.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing on-site labour and coordinating daily activities
Overseeing the excavation of chambers, sheet piling, and temporary works
Completing all required paperwork to ensure project compliance
Conducting daily briefings to keep the team informed and aligned
Liaising with the construction management team and providing regular progress updates
Ensuring all Health & Safety protocols are in place and being strictly adhered to
Job Requirements:
Experience as a Civils Site Manager
Knowledge of temporary works and civil engineering principles
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage on-site activities effectively
Proficiency in completing project documentation and paperwork
Ability to conduct daily briefings and communicate effectively with the team
Understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry
Experience in excavating chambers and sheet piling
