The role will focus on supporting the provision of a bespoke high quality HR service across a variety of customers with individual requirements. This is a demanding and occasionally pressured role which ideally would suit an energetic, self-motivated person willing to pick up the role and run with it, with the ability to juggle sometimes conflicting priorities
The HR Administrator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with our HR policies, employment legislation, best practice and ensuring effective employee relations.
Key accountabilities:
Provide HR and administrative support to HR manager as required
Work closely with colleagues supporting the provision of a high quality HR service
Represent the service positively both internally and externally
Promote and facilitate employee relations
Functions:
Deal promptly and effectively with HR requests from our customers including drafting of employment documents, right to work checks, probation checks and other adhoc admin queries with the support of the HR Manager
The ability to work effectively with our HR system and our customers HR systems, including ensuring the accurate input all employee data and information and ensuring all records are up to date on the system and on all personnel files
Manage employee relations issues – sickness & holiday absence
Provide first line support on employment issues to customers
Assist in the routine provision of management information generated from the HR system and as required
Understand company's processes and procedures and have up to date knowledge all relevant employment legislation
Work flexibly to ensure priorities are achieved
Assist with recruitment by screening CVs, speaking to candidates about the role
Essential:
Own transport and willingness to travel to customer sites within the UK
CIPD qualification or an interest in studying for this qualification
Strong customer focus achieving customer satisfaction skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office package including Excel
Excellent communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail and process driven
