We are currently recruiting an Admin Officer for our client based in Belfast, James House. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.
Start date: ASAP
Rate of pay: £13.75
Duration: 1/25/2026 with possible extension
Hours of work: 37
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitoring and circulating the daily list of Assembly Questions (Written) (AQWs) received from the Executive Office;
2. Setting up and updating progress of AQWs on the Knowledge Network database;
3. Liaise with and advise business areas to progress AQWs to meet Ministerial deadlines including issuing reminders and relaying Minister/Special Advisor comments to business areas for follow up;
4. Managing the Assembly mailbox to help ensure that Assembly Questions (AQs) are answered in a timeous fashion to meet Ministerial targets;
5. Initial quality assurance of draft responses received from business areas; and
6. Providing support within the wider branch as and when required.
Essential Criteria applicants must have:
7. 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English (Proof of certs required)
8. Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
9. Excellent communication skills.
