We are seeking an Assistant Site Manager looking for the next step in their career into a full Site Manager position. The role is for a regional main contractor for new build housing projects, across Lincolnshire and surrounding areas. The role is to oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring timely delivery, quality workmanship, and full compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors to meet project timelines.
Maintain high standards of quality control, housekeeping, and site safety.
Conduct site inductions, ensure RAMS compliance, and manage local authority inspections.
Support Contracts Manager with progress reporting, site documentation, and compliance certification.
Liaise with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve on-site issues.
Monitor programme schedules, forecast resources, and manage site logistics.
Maintain secure and compliant working environments in line with CDM regulations.
Requirements:
Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Ability to interpret construction drawings and ensure regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Commitment to health & safety and quality assurance.
Design and build/new build housing experience.
SMSTS/SSSTS/First Aid.
Hours:
Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, Friday 7:30am-3:30pm. Flexibility required.
