Cook (Weekend Role) Location: Kilbroney House Kilbroney House is looking for a Cook to join our warm, supportive, and community-focused team. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals and wants consistent weekend work in a caring environment. Hours & Pay Contracted Hours: 28.5 hours per week (option of 23.5 hours) Overtime available Shifts: Friday: 7:30am 5:00pm Saturday & Sunday: 7:30am 5:00pm (Option to work 7:30am 3:00pm if preferred) Pay Rates: £15 per hour Overtime: £17 per hour About the Role You will be responsible for preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals for our residents, contributing to their wellbeing in a friendly and supportive care setting. Key Duties Preparing and cooking meals for residents Catering for individual dietary requirements and preferences Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness Stock rotation and general kitchen duties Working independently and as part of a wider team What Were Looking For Previous experience as a cook is preferred, but not essential Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards Reliable, organised, and caring A respectful and considerate approach within a care environment What We Offer Consistent weekend hours Competitive pay with enhanced overtime rate Friendly and supportive workplace Training provided where required
