We are currently working with a major player in the Construction sector who are building a £200m Commercial Scheme in Northampton for a major blue chip company.
Start Date - 15th September (Site Manager)
Key Requirements
The Site Manager will be part of a busy team overseeing Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) and must have a roll your sleeves up attitude.
* Top 3 floors: Robotic installation and heavy M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) infrastructure
* Ground floor: Extensive MHE (Mechanical Handling Equipment) installation
* Manage the integration of high-level M&E infrastructure to support robotic systems (data cabling, electrical distribution, cooling, lighting, etc.).
* Liaise closely with automation and robotics vendors to ensure platform readiness, power availability, and commissioning support.
* Supervise heavy cable tray installation, power distribution boards, control panels, and other services essential for robotic systems.
* Oversee the installation of conveyor systems, racking, sortation systems, shuttles, and associated MHE infrastructure on the ground floor.
* Coordinate MHE vendor access, logistics, and power commissioning timelines with M&E teams.
* Ensure strict compliance with installation tolerances and sequencing to match operational flow requirements.
Work Hours & Days
* Start Thursday (Full Day) to be part of coordination meeting for shifts, Friday work 7am - 6pm, Saturday 7am 4pm all day coordinating 300 workers on site, Sunday day off, Monday 7 – 12.30Pm
* You will be paid for a full 5 day week
Requirements
* Strong Experience as a Site Manager with proven experience of looking after MHE Packages on similar projects
* CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
Rate
* £325 - £350pd CIS or PAYE Umbrella
