This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join a fast-paced Manufacturing and Production environment on a fixed-term basis. The role will focus on managing and supporting all aspects of human resources in a thriving Liverpool-based organisation.\n\nClient Details\n\nThis is a well-established organisation within the Manufacturing and Production industry, known for its strong presence and dedication to delivering high-quality products. As a medium-sized company, it offers a structured yet supportive environment with a focus on operational excellence.\n\nDescription\n\nOversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring full legal compliance and alignment with best practice.\n\nLead and develop a small on-site team, including an L&D Partner and HR Administrator, to deliver an effective, responsive HR service.\n\nProvide expert guidance on employee relations, advising managers on risk and resolution.\n\nManage all aspects of industrial relations, including union engagement, pay negotiations, ballots, and strike avoidance strategies.\n\nDevelop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with legal and industry standards.\n\nDrive proactive absence and performance management processes across the site.\n\nSupport the design and delivery of training and development programmes through your L&D Partner.\n\nOversee payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.\n\nPartner with site leadership to align HR strategy with business goals and performance.
\n\nProfile\n\nStrong generalist HR Manager experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.\n\nA confident operator in unionised environments, with experience managing complex IR activity.\n\nProven ability to lead and coach team members, including L&D professionals and administrators.\n\nSound understanding of UK employment law and best practice HR.\n\nDemonstrated experience managing employee relations and delivering business-aligned solutions.\n\nExperience leading HR through change - including consultation, restructuring, or TUPE.\n\nCIPD Level 5+ (or equivalent experience), with a hands-on, pragmatic approach.\n\nJob Offer\n\nCompetitive salary in the range of £50,000 - 60,000 per annum.\nOpportunity to work in busy manufacturing business in Liverpool\nFixed-term contract providing exposure to a variety of HR functions.\nSupportive and professional work environment \nHR Manager (Maternity Cover) up to a minimum of 12 monthsIf you are an experienced HR professional looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity in Liverpool
