$130k-$150k super (neg) Full-time 18 month contract with potential for permanency Global company with mining focus Supportive team environment Our client is a global leader in manufacturing and gas handling solutions across sectors including power generation, oil and gas, waste water, metals, mining, infrastructure and transport. Due to growth, we are seeking a Site Manager (Outages) to join their team in Newcastle or Sydney. Within this role, you will provide competent execution of projects on various customer sites, consisting of pre-planned and arranged scopes of works, with a primary objective to adding value to the customers site activities, installed products, planned outage periods, managing execution complexities, costs control and resource management. The role: Assess, plan, schedule and organise maintenance assignments to meet KPI requirements and contractual commitments. Put in place efficient control measures to pro-actively ensure projects are executed as planned, on standard and within agreed time framework. Manage quality control, take corrective action and sign off work completed. Attend and contribute to Customers site meetings and maintenance forums, reporting on works progress, plant conditions, observations, risks, issues and strategy. Coordinate spares, outages work scopes with Project Engineers. Manage costs on jobs including labour costs to ensure jobs remain within budget. Maintain the site stores and control stock levels to ensure spares are available for shutdowns and breakdown. Maintain short and long-term plans, raising short falls with engineering.
