The Ring team is looking for a passionate and talented iOS Software Development Engineer who has experience building world‑class mobile apps. The role focuses on developing mobile applications that interact seamlessly with our devices and delight our customers.
You will join a team responsible for developing core application features and adding features to simplify user experience and improve security. Design, develop and maintain our iOS mobile applications.
Responsibilities
* Work with team members to investigate design approaches, prototype technology and evaluate technical feasibility.
* Lead architecture and design of features from conception to launch.
* Help to improve engineering processes and tools to increase team effectiveness.
* Be part of an agile development process to deliver high-quality software.

You will work across teams to prototype ideas, solve complex problems, and raise the bar of our applications by advocating and driving software best practices, automating tasks and identifying pitfalls. You will continue to learn and become an expert in challenging fields, contributing creative ideas and energy while working with world‑class experts, distributed cloud systems and home security devices.
Qualifications
Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
* Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
* Experience debugging, profiling, and implementing best software engineering practices in large-scale systems.
* iOS mobile application development experience in Objective‑C and Swift.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
* Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
