This position is to assist a young man for 1.5 hours in the mornings with transfers on/off the shower chair. He then needs assistance to transfer off the shower chair and minimal assistance with drying and dressing.
Responsibilities
* Minimal assistance with dressing.
* Minimal assistance is also required to transfer into a wheelchair or bed.
* Washing machine and tumble dryer need to be checked and help with emptying the inside bin into the outside bin.
Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience working with a spinal cord injury person who is now residing in a wheelchair - advance wheelchair use.
