HR Manager Oxford - on site position
We are seeking an HR Manager to support our contract at John Radcliffe Hospital. This role involves leading HR operations for Mitie's workforce and contingent workers on site, totaling approximately 600 colleagues. We are open to applicants who have previously worked in NHS Trust environments in HR or employee relations administrative or advisory positions, looking to take the next step.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop strong relationships with managers and the Trust, to enhance line managers' capabilities through training and coaching, and provide sound counsel on all people-related issues and strategies.
* Support complex employee relations issues, ensure service levels across HR functions are met, and coach managers to align decisions with Trust policies and procedures.
* Proactively manage performance and contribute to talent management.
* Drive cultural change and engagement programs, collaborate with management on workforce planning.
* Lead HR projects that contribute to business strategy.
* Oversee absence management processes and work with third-party partners and specialist service teams.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience working within a Healthcare environment within an operational HR position, either directly for a Trust or for a third-party service provider.
* Confident, upbeat leadership with the ability to remain calm and positive under pressure.
* Empathy for all staff working on site and a desire to succeed through the success of the team.
* CIPD Level 3/5 or working towards (or equivalent).
* Effective time management.
* Comfortable with data and finance.
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
