About the Role
We are seeking a Sales Executive with residential property sales experience to manage the full sales journey, from initial enquiry through to completion, handover, and post-completion support. The position will be based on-site at our new Linen Lea development in Auchtermuchty, Fife. The Linen Lea development is in the early stages of construction with first timber kits currently being erected. The development is fifteen 3 and 4-bed bungalows of 1200, 1300, and 1500 sq. ft. and has already demonstrated strong levels of interest. This is a fantastic opportunity to take control of all sales on site and make the development your own.
Responsibilities:
Sales and Enquiry Management:
· Manage sales enquiries from initial contact through to reservation and legal completion.
· Meet with prospective purchasers to present the development, explain plot availability, specifications, and the purchasing process.
· Act as the primary point of contact for purchasers and prospects and maintain regular communication, ensuring they are informed and supported throughout the purchase process.
· Follow up enquiries and leads promptly to convert prospects into confirmed reservations.
Development Knowledge:
· Maintain a strong knowledge of the development, including plot availability, build progress, and key milestones.
· Provide purchasers and prospects with regular updates on the progress of their property.
Sales Progression and Administration:
· Manage all enquiries and client details through the CRM system, ensuring records remain accurate and up-to-date.
· Produce weekly reports outlining sales activity and the current status of enquiries, prospects, and active purchasers.
· Liaise with purchasers, solicitors, and financial advisors to support the progression of sales through exchange of missives and legal completion.
· Assist purchasers with the selection of extras, upgrades, and specification choices where applicable.
· Assist with the customer handover process, ensuring purchasers are prepared for completion and have all necessary information prior to receiving their new home.
Compliance:
· Ensure all sales activities are carried out in accordance with industry regulations, including the Consumer Code for New Homes.
Experience and Skills:
· Experience working in a similar role within the housebuilding industry is required.
· Knowledgeable of the residential property sales process, including reservation, exchange of missives and legal completion.
· Experienced in working in a customer focused environment and delivering exception customer service.
· Knowledge of new build purchasing processes and industry regulations, including the Consumer Code for New Homes, is desirable.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with the wider team.
· Confident in presenting developments, property details, and purchasing processes to prospective buyers.
· Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and clients simultaneously.
· Strong attention to detail when maintaining records, preparing reports, and managing client information.
