We have experienced successful growth through providing excellent care and services to clients and children. To support this rapid expansion, we are now seeking an experienced Catering Manager to join our team.
The role:
As the Catering Manager, you will have full operational and financial responsibility for your school's catering facility. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality food and service, showcasing flair and originality, and making your school’s catering offer one of the best in the area.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading, developing, coaching, training, and motivating your kitchen team
2. Having full control of the catering operation, including managing stock, food, and labor costs
3. Ensuring consistency in food and service standards for students and staff
4. Driving sales through monthly promotions and added-value events
5. Managing and improving all controllable costs
6. Maintaining company systems, procedures, and legislation compliance
7. Conducting regular audits to ensure standards are met
About you:
We are looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service to schools, with the following skills and experience:
1. OND or HND qualification (not essential but advantageous)
2. Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients
3. Knowledge of health and safety practices
4. Financial understanding of gross profit management and sales targets
5. Experience in a similar environment

1. 35 hours per week with no late nights
2. 40 weeks per year, aligned with school terms
3. £15.50 per hour
