About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Online Applications Team, where you'll work in a multidisciplinary agile team and contribute across the full software development lifecycle - from design and development to maintenance and support.
Responsibilities
* Play an active role as part of the Online Apps Development team working with commissioning teams to design and deliver customer‑focussed services that meet our delivery capabilities.
* Support the Service Manager and other Delivery Team Leaders in achieving our organisational vision and outcomes.
* Work collaboratively with your team to meet the outcomes of the service delivery plan.
* Develop and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders, including product owners, project management, statutory partners, service providers, voluntary sector and customers.
* Use your previous experience to help shape our technical roadmap and ways of working.
Delivery responsibilities
* Application design, development, configuration, implementation and support.
* Troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Key Requirements
* Interpret and analyse development requests and customer requirements, and produce solutions using a variety of technologies including JavaScript, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Azure, relational databases and third‑party platforms (e.g. Firmstep).
* Provide information and advice, communicating complicated or sensitive information with varied audiences regarding development and technologies.
* Organise own workload and decide priorities.
* Use own initiative to respond independently to difficult problems and unexpected situations.
* Desirable: Agile Software Development, .NET Development, Ruby on Rails.
