Site Manager

My client is looking for an experienced site manager to oversee a large-scale bathroom installation contract across the Ayrshire region. This is a 12-week temporary contract with a strong opportunity to move into a permanent position.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations on a high-volume bathroom refurbishment programme. The role requires strong leadership, organisation, and a proactive approach to health & safety and programme delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee and coordinate all site activities
2. Manage subcontractors and trades on site
3. Ensure works are delivered on time and to specification
4. Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance
5. Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks
6. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and senior management
7. Monitor quality control and resolve site issues efficiently
8. Maintain accurate site records and reporting
Essential Requirements
9. Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
10. Valid First Aid at Work certificate
11. Proven experience managing refurbishment or bathroom contracts
12. Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations
13. Excellent communication and leadership skills
14. Own transport (essential)
