Key Areas of Responsibility – The Role Operational General * To ensure performance is in accordance with all standards held by the company (e.g. ISO 9001:2015 & AS9120 B) * To foster close working relationships with associated departments: sales, purchasing, administration and senior management team Operational (Quality) * To manage and oversee the day-to-day smooth running of the Quality Department. * To work with the Senior Management Team to develop strategic planning and implementation of company policy * To ensure processes required for the Quality Management System (QMS) are established, implemented and maintained; to include: audits, forms, drawings, meetings and procedures * To ensure customer requirements and expectations are met (product and paperwork), are compliant and are legal * To carry out inspection of incoming goods, including works orders and to write up sample reports/FAIRS as required, scanning documentation to ensure lot traceability is maintained. To ensure random inspections are made on products from suppliers who provide multiple items * To manage non-conformances (internal and external), liaising with Purchasing Department to confirm any action to be taken, ensuring paperwork is scanned & records are kept for reporting * To investigate product related returns, liaising with purchasing department to follow fault investigations process through to conclusion * To ca...
